Shiv Gupta helps marketers develop data, analytics and technology strategies to drive emotional bonds with their customers. He brings with him more than 18 years of marketing analytics and measurement experience at leading brands and agencies including Exelon, Farmers Insurance, Merkle and Prophet.
Gupta has developed and executed data-driven marketing strategies with Fortune 500 companies. This includes building the first marketing analytics department at Farmers Insurance, where he was recognized as a Frost & Sullivan “Growth Best Practices” business leader.
He is a noted expert on customer equity, customer lifetime value strategy, and the use of data and technology to advance marketing strategy and effectiveness. His work has been broadly recognized for its innovative approach toward retention and profitable loyalty. He is a regular speaker at conferences and his work has been published in numerous publications, including Ad Age, Target Marketing and Loyalty Management.
Prior to joining Lippincott, Gupta was a partner at Prophet – where he lead its global analytics practice. Before that, he was VP of analytics in the Insurance and Wealth Management Practice at Merkle. In that role, he developed Merkle’s data-driven strategy for the rapidly evolving health insurance/wealth management markets and positioned its analytics practice as a key thought leader for achieving data/ research-driven growth and optimization.
Gupta has experience in the Insurance, Energy, Retail and CPG Industries and is an MBA graduate of the University of Chicago- Booth School of Business.
